Welcome to our Wiki!!!! I created this page so that we can share our personal information so we know how best to collaborate and complete our Wiki. I am not sure this is all correct so if someone, anyone has experience with building a Wiki please let me know. I am just doing trial and error.

I am completely new to the world of wikis, so I'm glad we are all in this together! This is my fourth year of full time teaching. I have taught 7th, 9th and 10th grades, and am currently teaching six English 9 classes and one English 10 class. I live on a beef cattle farm with my husband Mike, our chocolate lab Bruce, and 50+ cows. We are expecting a new bundle of joy in early May. He will be our first child. Forgive me, but pregnancy brain has hit me hard and I have a tendency to forget things more often than I did before. I am happy to get to know all of you!

I have a wonderful fiance and a beautiful little girl who just turned two in February. This is my first official year as a teacher. I teach 7th and 8th grade math. I will say that I am very thankful to have been offered a job so early in my career and right out of college. I hope in these next couple weeks I will have a chance to learn from all of you, as well as you learning from me!

Greetings. I teach in a suburb of the Atlanta metro area. This is my sixth year in education, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I was born and raised in Georgia, but left home to play basketball at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. After graduation, and running an after school program for low-income students, I returned to Georgia to teach. I have been teaching seventh grade Social Studies each year. I am not very used to using wikis, and usually steer my students away from them when they are searching for information. Needless to say, this will be a learning experience for me, and one I'm excited about. I too, have been impressed by how easy it has been to use thus far. Here's to hoping the entire process runs just as smooth. :-)
Hello! Over the past five years I have taught every subject, grade, and in a variety of settings as a substitute teacher for several districts in eastern Long Island. I hold five teaching certifications in NY including general and special elementary education as well as an art certification. For the remainder of this year I will be working with a first grade Inclusion classroom covering for a leave. Additionally, I am the single mother of a beautiful boy who is also in first grade. I have no experience with wikis and look forward to learning what I can to begin using them.

Hi all! I have been teaching high school math in a first tier suburban school just outside of Minneapolis. In addition to math, I coach our baseball team in the spring as well as our adaptive floor hockey team in the winter. My wife and I have one child, Nolan, who just celebrated his first birthday! I like to say that I am fairly good at working with different technologies but have not had any experience with a wiki. But I am am so far happy with how user-friendly it is!

Hi everyone. I am in my eleventh year teaching third grade in the West Shore School District, located in south central Pennsylvania. It's a pretty big suburban area just outside Harrisburg with 9 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 2 high schools. My wife and I have 2 children, Owen 2, and Chloe 11 months. I have played with wikis a bit in the past but mostly on the contribution end. This is my first time on the "building" side. I am enjoying the experience.
